Consumer Cellular Lowers Pricing

Consumer Cellular announced their updated price list today, effectively giving more minutes, text, and data to all existing plans. The lowest price looks like $10 + $2.50 a month for no minutes, 300 texts and 30MB a month. A new plan was also introduced to their text and data rates, $40 a month for 4GB and unlimited text (plus your choice of call plan, which starts at $10).
Not the best deal, but certainly an interesting pricing model with the split call and data plans. The good news is that existing customers will see an automatic bump in their text/minutes/data at no additional cost, based on their current tier.
